Bold, accountable leadership for Rockville,
Gaithersburg, Washington Grove,
and all of Montgomery County.

Early Vote: June 11–18, 2026
Primary Election: June 23, 2026

Real change. Bold leadership.

Izola Shaw is a lifelong Democrat running for County Council District 3—bringing bold, accountable leadership to Rockville, Gaithersburg, and all of Montgomery County.

As a current Rockville City Councilmember and a former federal employee for 20 years, Izola has always put people first—even when it meant standing up to those in power. When the Trump administration targeted federal workers, Izola responded by organizing her workplace to form a union.

She successfully fought to raise Montgomery County's minimum wage, stood up for fairness and opportunity, and has always worked to make our community stronger. Izola is focused on ensuring our public schools succeed and building a future where everyone has a fair shot.

District 3 deserves real change and a leader with the heart and courage to deliver it. Stand with Izola Shaw—let's build a Montgomery County where every family can thrive and every voice is valued.
